Like I said the only issue im having which is not the printers fault is me utilizing the ESC/POS commands but I was having that issue with my other printer simply because I don’t program in C# and VB.Net(ALTHOUGH IT HAS SOME SAMPLES FOR VB6 FOR THOSE WHO STILL USE VB6!!)
POS printers often include display screens that allow customers to view items as employees scan or manually enter them for the transaction. This simple display helps purchasers verify pricing and review tax information at a glance, ensuring they receive the advertised prices.
Impact printers only print order tickets for a kitchen. They’re not affected by heat and can withstand warm environments. They require heat-sensitive paper and won’t work with non-thermal, receipt printer paper.
Printers can be a tough purchase decision, when you factor in the vast number of choices to research. The HP CP5225n and Lexmark Forms Printer 4227 plus are both suitable picks for IT workers and telecommuters…

A simple print button on the tablet application would allow us to connect to a local or network printer and print the same form data. Why is this still impossible? Why can we still not utilize our desktop or local printers to print receipt data from the app?
The STAR MICRONICS SM-T300I is also a light weight receipt printer. But it’s very durable and rugged. It’s also Apple MFi certified for iOS phone and iPads. It also works with Android and Windows. It’s been tested to take a little bit of beating and is used by people who are outside a lot. Having said that the price is higher than other printers. If you need something rugged, this device may be the one for you. But if you don’t. You will want to look at something else as this device can get expensive. The SM-T300i is easy to use. There is a well written and very detailed user manual. The user manual gives details on how to configure the receipt printer and how to load paper. Here is a link to the Star Micronics SM-T300i User Manual.
I am still trying my best to use it. My POS system doesn’t support Star. and now I am having the common problem that I am dealing with Star tech support, they are still working on it to solve the problem, which is it doesn’t print out All Receipts bar-codes on my machine even from their own configuration utility, can’t use Receipt Flip, it doesn’t cut off the receipt automatically, doesn’t print out my full store name in every other receipt, and sometimes the receipt goes out 2 feet long.
With every successful payment, you can provide a digital receipt – text message or email – or a printed receipt for your customers. Get started by customizing your receipts, and if you’re a business, review the tax ID disclosure requirements for digital receipts.
If you have a Square Stand, in addition to the printers above, you can use certain USB interface receipt printers. The following receipt printers are only compatible with the Square Stand, not the Square card reader:

Be sure the printer and the iPad are connected to the same network. To confirm this or change your Wi-Fi network, go to the iPad’s Settings and tap “Wi-Fi” located in the left sidebar. Then select the network that the router is broadcasting and click “Connect”.
Highest marks on the TSP100III because of the multi-platform adoption and performance. This printer works with Windows, does Star and Epson emulations (set in driver), but the ethernet version is the most commonly used printer with iOS point of sale applications (Star, Shopkeep, Aldelo Touch). Along with it’s 10+ ips print speed it is a great overall printer that will fit most point of sale printing needs.
I’ve only had it up and running for a couple of weeks now, but it prints and cuts the receipts well and have yet to have any problems with it. Drivers disc makes setting up and installing a snap, and it comes with any/all necessary cables. It even comes with a mount for wall mounting, but in looking at it I’m not sure how you would do that or even why someone might want to 🙂

If you want a small and easy to carry receipt printer, this may be it. It weighs less than half a pound. It is easy to carry around. For people who sell at craft shows, farmers markets and historical fairs this may be the receipt printer.
We really like the Apple MFi certification with the auto connect feature. We also like the small footprint of this receipt printer. Overall this is one easy and fast printer to setup. The Apple MFi makes it real easy. You just turn the printer on within range of your iPad.
If you accept credit card payments from your customers at your place of business, you’ll want a receipt printer. A receipt printer automatically prints a receipt for your customer when they make a purchase.
Right here are some reference internet sites.
Impact receipt printers are some of the longest running on the market. Similar to the older tractor-feed style printers of the 1980s, these printers use a series of small pins to press and transfer ink from a ribbon onto receipts. Many impact receipt printers can print up to two colors using special two-tone ribbons, making them a smart choice for businesses where order changes need to be stark and apparent.
*Note: We have had some Sellers complain about the receipts printing over too many pages when they want it to only print on one. The trick is to reduce the scale of the image within your printing options until it fits. (see screenshot)
We bought this thermal printer for work. It works well as described, but there are some programs that don’t use the printer, and setting up the printer is less than intuitive/easy for the average user. I had to go into advanced settings and follow advice on forums to get it to function the right way.
