Just click the Transaction and the Receipt will preview on the right-hand side. At the bottom, you’ll see the receipt number (ex: Receipt #H8R5). Click that and it will show you the digital version of the receipt. From there you’re good to print on the standard 8×11 printer paper.
I do not recommend the paper Amazon recommends to purchase together as it is only 10 rolls for $9 and the rolls will usually complete only 30 orders. Purchase longer rolls for much cheaper. I have ordered some, the seller has assured me that it can hold rolls up to 2.25″ length and 1.8″ diameter. I will update my review of they do fit.
There are several options for using a Square card reader: it’s available as a standard magnetic stripe reader, as an magnetic stripe and EMV chip reader, or with an additional NFC payment reader (for tap and go payments, like Apple Pay). All Square devices are available from Square’s website.

This is an easy and entry level printer. Getting going is fast. The price is reasonable at generally less than $200. We rate this high for a receipt printer if you want something easy to use that does the job a thermal printer should do.

@CarrieZ @TopJimmy I have the same printer and the same problem. My dashboard is still saying that the device is not supported. There is no new available update in the app store as far as I can tell. C’mon people! We have been operating without a proper cash drawer for 2 weeks now 🙁

This unit worked very well out of the box. Yes, it would have been nice to find instructions, or even a url for where to find the manual, but some kind souls have posted about that in the q&a, so no biggie. But yesterday I plugged it in to charge, after. It using it for a couple of weeks, and no joy. The unit shows no sign of life at. I have removed the battery, checked and wiped the connections, etc etc. The return window closed 26 days ago so looks like I’m screwed 🙁 I’m dismayed to have spent $295 (including taxes) for a paperweight, and not sure what to do next. 😩

Once configured, the user simply pairs their mobile device to the SM-S220i, open the application on WebPRNT Browser and prints from the application.
Great quality. The printer quickly connects to my Pixel 2 phone and prints reliably. You’ll need to install the software on your PC and then connect the phone with USB cable in order to change the print mode (I print thermal receipt paper, not the sticker paper). I couldn’t figure out a way to change the mode manually on the device. I recommend the printer to educators/administrators to help them print forms like passes and detentions throughout the day.

I bought his to use with my ipad and square point of sale system when I occasionally do craft shows. So far so good. I wish it automatically connected with Square when I open the app but I have to connect under setting- my only complaint. Other than that it performs nicely, is very light and compact and reliably prints a decent easy to read receipt.
To begin, we have been using Square for almost 4 years. Over that time we have integrated square more and more into our business. We are happy to report that this has been a great decision. The app is always being updated and keeps getting the features that we ask for. All you have to do is email or call and tell their customer service department what features you really want to see in the future. Then sure enough in a month or two the very thing you asked for is added in or has some beginning resemblance of what you had asked for. Do not be deterred by the negative reviews. Most of them are people who have decided that the review section for the app is the best wY to ask a question to the support staff. Or they may be engaged in some kind of shady business that is prohibited by square.

Bought this strictly to print receipts with the Amazon Local Register iPad App and card reader, as it is the only receipt printer supported at this time by that platform. (Bought it used via an Amazon re-seller; works perfectly. It was easy to set up on the network using the downloadable Windows software. Once set up, my iPad and the Amazon Local Register app found the printer and linked to it easily. I haven't tried using any of the other options (like printing our logo or printing coupons), but for what I bought it for it works perfectly. It prints extremely fast and clearly. The cutter works well, too. It is nice that it can be mounted to a vertical surface if desired. This is the answer for vendors at Farmer's Markets, craft shows, etc. Armed with the Paypal app , this receipt printer and a cash drawer that opens with a signal from the printer and a Goal Zero Yeti 400 I can run all day print receipts, kick the cash drawer AND run a 12V and a USB fan for a little air movement on 20% of the battery pack's capacity. Blue tooth synching has worked every time, turn on the printer, open the iPad, open the app and, voila, there it is. The printer connects immediately upon waking the iPad during a lull in the action. This will add a level of professionalism to your booth, makes you look like a serious vendor.

The printer that Square supports is one of the largest used brands in the receipt printer market.  They are not getting kickbacks on printers as the printers are sold by hundreds of places including Amazon, and the buyer doesn’t know you are buying it to print with Square as the printer is also used by 100s of other POS systems. More printer options would always be better, but as this is one of the industry standard printers it only makes sense they support it.
I bought this printer for my business. I’m a mobile merchant. I works as advertised, worth every penny. Today almost everything is emailed but a printed ticket is always appreciated. Plus having all the proper tools gives you a professional image and enhances shopping experience for your clients.
