So overall, should you use Square for Android? We recommend using it as an affordable alternative to the common iPad Square point of sale set up. With a number of Android tablets available for under $100, and a wider variety of compatible hardware, using Square with an Android device has more options, and more affordable options, for you to choose from. The Square app is a bit more limited with Android, you can only search within certain screens and items aren’t automatically added to the order the way they are with iOS, but for small businesses, it’s an easy and relatively cheap way to process transactions.

Very practical. I keep it in my car. I print my swim workouts at the last minute before going to the swimming pool. I always dreamt to have a printer in my car. This turned out even more practicle than what I thought
Square Point of Sale (formerly Register) is the free point-of-sale app that gives you everything you need to run and grow your business. Accept debit and credit cards with a Square Reader for magstripe, and accept EMV chip cards and Apple Pay with the Square Reader for contactless and chip. Funds are deposited fast—see money in your bank account in one to two business days. Use your point of sale system to keep track of sales and inventory in real time, manage items and employees, and view analytics about your business. All this with no long-term contracts or surprise fees.
Connect your PayPal Here POS equipment to a cash register to make change for customers and store cash. When you set up a cash drawer with PayPal, it will automatically open for every cash transaction or when issuing a cash refund. PayPal Here POS hardware for iPad and iPhone work with cash drawers that connect to the Star TSP 143L or Star TSP 654L receipt printer and are equipped with the MultiPro 320 24 Volt interface connection. Examples include the APG Vasario 1313 and APG Vasario 1616.
On the plus side, funds deposited into a merchant’s PayPal account are available even sooner than one business day — almost immediately after a payment is made — and the money can be used to make online transactions right away.
Same technology (dye sublimation) but this device prints standard 4×6 photos and includes a dock so that you can print directly from iPhone or Android devices (in addition to the WiFi connection). It’s not even that much more expensive – $139
Also, if the printer has not been directly tested by your team and you cannot confirm either way, can you tell me does the Square POS ever work with any printers outside of that list? i.e. Does it conform to some set of standards that might permit “generic” printing capability?
Wanted a simple cheap way to take card payments so came across the above companies. I suppose i can just do what i do now and not produce any receipts but when customers pay by card and then not get a receipt for the card payment they might get a bit suspicious…
The M10 and M30 are very similar form factors, this is set to top load, this is set to front load. In the top load version, your cover opens up, your paper just drops in. The printer can also be converted to the front load version. In the front load, your paper drops in like so.
@thestationslo Glad to hear you were able to get your printer up and running, thank you for the update! It sounds like you might be interested in using sign and tip on printed receipts. This feature is used for restaurants to authorize a customers payment card, and add a tip later (within 36 hours).
So in the scheme of “would we buy these printers?” it comes down to would we buy these instead of other Epson printers? I would probably recommend the T20II the most out of all the printers, I think for the price and features and warranty, the T20II is your best bet. If you are worried about space though, take a look at the M series, especially the M10, it’s very very small compared to older receipt printers. The styling on both of these are better than the T20II. If you’re looking for just pure performance, pure reliability, pure speed, the T88V is still your best bet. So that’s kind of the Epson overview of all their printers. Good printers, probably at this time not their best printers, but they are space saving options, and there are some unique pairing capabilities, so if you’re on a tablet or something like that and you don’t have a USB port, then take a look and see if a proper interface is available for you. To purchase these printers, or for more information, please visit us at POSGuys.com. Thanks!
ZINK™ stands for “ZERO INK” printing technology. Instead of ink, it uses colorful dye-based crystals embedded inside the paper. Before printing, the embedded dye crystals are clear so ZINK™ Paper looks like regular, white photo paper. The ZINK-enabled device uses heat to activate and colorize these crystals.
First one we got was dead. Customer service is almost non-existent. Packaged it up and paid to ship back to repair center. Several weeks went by with no feedback, then received back the exact packaging with no note or anything to indicate what the issue was, or if it had even been fixed. It seems it has, but that process was a pain. Now it doesn’t like to stay visible on the network so we are always either re-booting or just telling people it’s broken. Turns out people don’t care all that much about paper receipts anyway. Recommend purchasing directly through Square if you really need it. At least then you might get some tech support.
Well, those are all the best iPhone photo printer devices available in the market right now. Some of them are large and stationary, some are very portable. Some of them are ideal for large pictures, and some are ideal for small pocket sized instant photos. Some of them offer polaroid type pictures, whereas others offer clear digital pictures with bright colors.

You can now remove and rearrange payment types in the Square Point of Sale app’s checkout screen.     Wow, okay! Here is an update years in the making — and quite honestly, a feature the product team worked very hard to create. You can now remove and rearrange payment types in

Sorry for the late reply @juanjosemirc:disqus, I think what you need now is a large printer device and not like the example above where you print on a small and handheld printer device. I have no experience printing a pdf file in this case.
First weekend using the cash register and star tsp 1000 III printer with our Square stand and iPad and so far the experience has been great. The cash register is big and roomy and not loud when it opens. Great purchase would definitely recommend buying the epsilont versus buying the one that square has to offer that is $200 more.

The Mobile Power Supply allows users to put the TSP650 into vehicle applications like printing law enforcement tickets, truck tickets, and more. It converts 12VDC into the required 24VDC to power the printer.
Here’s another great receipt printer from Star Micronics, and like number 4 on this list, this one has everything you’ll need included right in the box. With support for Android devices as well as Windows, this one’s quite versatile and shouldn’t give you any hiccups.

This item: Mobile Thermal Receipt Printer Bluetooth MUNBYN 58MM Printer for Android iPhone iPad with Leather Belt and Rechargeable Battery for Small Business ESC/POS (Upgraded),DO NOT Support Square,Mac If you're considering a POS system to make it more convenient for your business to manage inventory and prices, you shouldn't look any further. For the price, you can set up a fantastic FREE POS software with all the accessories such as the stand, receipt printer, cash drawer, barcode scanner, and EMV/chip reader for one upfront cost and not have to pay for your POS like some of these not so reputable POS sellers try to market to you. Even if you don't use Square to process your cards (which is what Square truly wants you to do), the setup for a POS system with an iPad is second to none. The software gets constant updates, works flawlessly, and is FREE. I have no regrets about switching to the Square ecosystem for running my business and selling inventory. I occasionally use their card processing, but even if I didn't, I'd still use the Square POS system and software. No regret here! Overall, this is a great printer. I can't complain about the price because for similar thermal printers, this is relatively cheap. Any cheaper and there are issues with printing mechanics and whatnot.
