With most printer categories, you should consider whether you really need color. Photo printers turn the question on its head, so you should consider whether you need black and white, which many printers can’t handle well. The most common flaw is a tint, or different color tints for different shades of gray. If you print black and white photos, you’ll need to check out black and white photo quality apart from the printer’s color photo quality. This is more often a problem for dedicated, rather than near-dedicated, photo printers, but you need to consider it in either case. (In our reviews, we note such tints and their severity when we encounter them, but we don’t use monochrome images to test small-format printers.)

I bought this printer to work with Square Apps.on the I phone and I pad. On the I phone the square app. doesn’t have a place to add the printer. It does on the I pad and works great right out of the box. You can use 2 1/4 X 42″ thermal paper, the same size I use with my Verifone 8020, just google it When pairing with I pad the code number is 1234 as most. Doesn’t come with info, but I found the manual on posworld.com that you can download. At first tried to buy from posworld.com, ordered and waited for 3 weeks and to this day haven’t heard from them yet. Had to file a depute with DiscoverCard. Forgot about Amazon. Ordered on Monday, got it Wednesday. It will print cash or charge receipts, quickly. Now I don’t have to try typing email or text receipts. Just takes to long.

The printer will automatically connect via Bluetooth Before you can print your first picture, you’ll need to install the app on an iOS or Android device. I did my testing with a Google Pixel 2 XL. This printer uses a WiFi connection instead of Bluetooth, so you will have set up the WiFi connection including the password. The printer comes with 1500mAh super power lithium battery, whose standby time can reach 5-6 days. Added with smart power saving and power consumption control functions, the set is able to work for a longer life. Works well, however a little slow in printing. Quality is great and pairing is plain simple and easy to understand. Works well with my iPad Mini 2 that I am using with PayPal Here. 2nd month and running strong. I will update you when anything goes wrong. Excellent product with 1 year warranty. The SM-S220i bluetooth receipt printer is compatible with Windows, Android, and iOS, ensuring easy printing regardless of your preferred operating system. The 2-inch print width is ideal for credit slips or receipts, and the 3 inch per second print speed is fast enough for most mobile or low volume sales operations. A serial port on the side of the SM-S220i supports connection to mobile devices but can also act as a pass-through for PIN-pad, NFC, or other payment peripherals. I like this printer very much, but only give it 4 stars because I had to search around for information on operating the printer and finding paper. That is a very small negative and likely due in part to my lack of industry knowledge. But, I do think a manual in the package would be nice or at least a link to the information on the web. A case for the printer would also be nice, but I just grabbed something I had laying around. The Star SM-S220i mobile printer is a great option for businesses looking to incorporate mobile POS or line busting into their daily operations. I’m not sure why there are so many mixed up reviews and answers to the questions. I have two iPad without a square stand. This easily connected to my cash drawer and WiFi router. So Im looking for a way to make my Android-Application print receipts (58 mm in width) via a bluetooth thermal receipt printer. Is it necessary to use a printer with a 3rd party API? I thought about to buy a regular bluetooth printer, that can be connected to my device and use the default Android print manager to make a layout for the receipt. Is that possible? Are there any samples, docs or tutorials? Would appreciate it. Thanks in advance Able to print up to 60 receipts per minute (300 mm/sec), the TSP650II BTi offers unrivaled processing power and outstanding data throughput. Thanks to easy “drop in and print” paper loading, a small footprint, and reliable guillotine cutter, the printer is a welcome addition to any POS system. I spent years in jobs that included lots of cash handling. This cash drawer is the nicest I've seen. It's solid build will last for years and its finish is just lovely. It triggers cleanly and the drawer all but shoots out when triggered. I'm very pleased. Is anyone using an external power source? I used to have a portable unit to jump start my car, and it had an outlet to plug things in. I'm thinking about picking up one of those, but wanted to see what's working for other people. The SP700 also supports Star's cloudPRNT communication protocol that sends print jobs directly to the printer through the cloud. Star's SP700cloudPRNT is specifically designed for accepting and printing online food orders in the kitchen where heat and humidity can erode the type on the printed order. This fast, two-color printer offers crisp, easy-to-read type for quick viewing, and will automatically print orders as they are placed through an online ordering application. Now square recognizes the printer and it's working great! However, I believe only one ipad can be connected to the printer. Not sure if other printers can handle multiple devices or if this is a square thing. The printer will run test prints through Epson software so I know it is connected to the Ipad by bluetooth. So it seems the issue is with square recognizing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  thermal receipt handheld printer portable printer for android tablet cheap 58mm mini mobile printer android mobile bluetooth thermal printer receipt printer sdk ocpp m05 usb thermal printer tp 260 thermal printer thermal printer 80mm rp80use b to b transaction companies portable printer with bluetooth
