Ultimately your choice hinges on what other devices you might be using your printer with and your budget, but you do have several options in terms of how the thing actually prints receipts. Like a normal printer, you get a few choices in this area – most receipt printers either use thermal printing, impact printing, or inkjet printing and each of these offers certain attributes.
We really like the Apple MFi certification with the auto connect feature. We also like the small footprint of this receipt printer. Overall this is one easy and fast printer to setup. The Apple MFi makes it real easy. You just turn the printer on within range of your iPad.
Impact printers only print order tickets for a kitchen. They’re not affected by heat and can withstand warm environments. They require heat-sensitive paper and won’t work with non-thermal, receipt printer paper.
Used Citizen CT-S310A Point of Sale Thermal Printer, in good condition, removed from a working environment . It has signs of use, scuffs, scratches, chip, a bit of dust. Comes with power supply and US…
Sturdy, good battery, good-looking receipts, very portable and adaptable as it uses Bluetooth. (Oddly, it also has an old-fashioned serial port for hard-wiring, rather than USB.) Unfortunately, at least with Shopify, there is about a 10-second delay from the sale until it starts printing the receipt. It’s at least 5 seconds too long as you awkwardly wait with the customer for their receipt. It uses small paper rolls that don’t last very long and are extremely difficult to find (online only). The other con is that like most receipt printers, it’s quite expensive for what it does.
I have e-mailed support twice since last Wednesday (rec’d no response to either message) and spent over an hour on the phone with support yesterday and nothing was resolved.   Next step is to stop using Square altogether, as we are a busy bar and asking customers to sign the iPad during peak service does not work in a busy setting.  We were about to start switching over the ten other businesses we own to Square, but obviously are no longer considering that. In short, Square sucks.
You are not even consistent with the model names and the actual models that you link to which is pretty critical since the entire reason for this document existing is so that we will purchase among the supported models.
Much like mobile card readers, mobile credit card terminals can be used anywhere you have your iPhone. But they come with some additional features that your customers may appreciate. For instance, many mobile terminals are equipped with all of the capabilities of a regular POS terminal, such as inventory management, built-in customer relationship management software, staff management capabilities, marketing tools and advanced analytics.
THESE UNITS WERE PULLED FROM WORKING SERVICE. THEY ARE FULLY FUNCTIONAL. AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE THE FEED BUTTON IS WORN BUT THE BUTTON IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL. TESTED WORKING. WE DO RECORD SERIAL NUMBERS…
I am new to Square.  I would like to print receipts from my iPad, but the printers on the Square web site cost over $300.  I found that I could print a receipt from the web-based customer portal if I am using my PC or Mac.  However, the receipt prints on two pages since there is a small icon at the bottom that carries over to the second page.  I will have to carefully set the printer to print just one page every time I print a receipt for our event.
The Kitchen Buzzer connects directly the RJ11 port on the back of the printer. The buzzer sounds when a print job is sent to the TSP650II. This is beneficial for high noise environments like kitchens to alert cooks that orders have been sent.
I own many of the eom Pos products for my Restaurants. I Wanted to add a printer to my kitchen and I went to there website left a message and got a call on a SUNDAY . They helped me get up and running . I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO EVERYONE!

saved me a lot of money to replace my old setup. It was easy to install and everything was compatible. No problems at all setting it up. As other viewers said the bill slots are thinner than usual and the drawer has a lot of power/
I already had the square reader and just was tired of it being in other spots or being charged. The dock was a great addition to the square stand and the printer. Very easy to use. Just attach to the square stand and put the reader in. The dock has weight to it so i dont have to worry about it falling especially in the spot i put it. Definitely reccomend
Pros: Compact. Portable. Modestly priced. Low cost per print for a dedicated photo printer. Prints from Windows and Mac computers, smartphones, and tablets. Includes memory card slot and USB thumb drive port.
Also, it seems receipts are either just electronic or traditional. I think it’d be useful for there to be an option before the card is charged. Some people do not need a printed receipt and it can be a waste of paper! So after hitting charge, Square asks “Electronic or Paper” and then either prints a paper receipt or carries through with the regular electronic process.
You can search the Star Knowledge Base by entering your own specific questions or search terms in the various categories below. You can also narrow down your search by selecting any of the keywords that will be listed with the FAQ results you receive. It is recommended to keep the search short and use the printer model, operating system, or interface in the search.
Check the running cost and total cost of ownership if you can. Unfortunately, this may be impossible for near-dedicated photo printers, since there’s currently no widely accepted standard for calculating cost per photo. For dedicated photo printers, however, the cost per photo is typically easy to calculate, because most manufacturers sell print packs with enough ink and paper for a given number of photos.
Purchased to use with Paypal swiper and app. This particular one is on Paypal’s approved list. I used it on an iphone and it paired quickly and it worked great. Prints really fast. When you pair it to the phone it takes you to the app store and shows you all the compatible apps.

You can add your logo and text to your receipt. This is done with software that is included with the receipt printer. By adding your logo to your receipts you have a place to advertise your business. You can also put your phone number on your receipt or your website URL. This is a good thing to do if you’re selling at a craft show, fair, farmers market and etc. The customer may not remember your name and may not go online to search for your website. But if you put your website on the receipt you have a better chance of the customers visiting your website to make a purchase.

I don’t normally wear a watch, but that doesn’t stop me from appreciating the look and features of the current crop of smartwatches that are on the market like the TicWatch Pro which has two different displays that give it extra battery life beyond a typical smartwatch.
