Everything you need to get started taking in orders and money (except the iPad, Square Stand and the cash for the till!). This Square Stand accessories kit includes Square credit card reader (use it for making a smart phone mobile terminal), receipt printer with USB interface, 2 rolls of receipt paper, 16″ Square Stand cash drawer with till, and all cables for connecting the printer and Square Stand cash drawer.
No. The Square Stand, like the Square reader, is only compatible with the Square Register app, which in turn is only compatible with Square’s payment processing service. All or nothing. The encryption only works with Square’s system.
Small businesses have many choices for mobile credit card processors, from independent vendors that offer all types of credit card processing to merchant-account providers, banks and other financial institutions. Go with the wrong one, however, and it could cost you time, money and possibly your sanity.
I have also tried connecting the printer as a local printer since a lot of fixes said to try this, but these end up with an error at the end of the installation i get an error that I don’t have access to do this.  I am using an administrator account.
SIr i try this code before basically major problem in this code is “uuid” is not present .SIr tell me what changes is reqiured in your project ” Bluetooth send data to Bluetooth printer “. The only troubleshooting I had to do after, occurred after a Windows update. The port the 2nd starmicronics entry in Printers and Devices had changed port numbers. I just repeated step 6 and then made the 2nd starmicronics entry in printers and devices match that of the entry that is auto installed when you pair the printer the first time and I was golden. I’ve rebooted numerous times since then and it has retained the port.

This is the answer for vendors at Farmer’s Markets, craft shows, etc. Armed with the Paypal app , this receipt printer and a cash drawer that opens with a signal from the printer and a Goal Zero Yeti 400 I can run all day print receipts, kick the cash drawer AND run a 12V and a USB fan for a little air movement on 20% of the battery pack’s capacity. Blue tooth synching has worked every time, turn on the printer, open the iPad, open the app and, voila, there it is. The printer connects immediately upon waking the iPad during a lull in the action. This will add a level of professionalism to your booth, makes you look like a serious vendor.
I was already aware that your system is only compatible with a subset of printer models and so I purchased one of your own recommended models, as claimed in the original post above “Epson TM-m10, this model supports both USB and Ethernet”.

It works with most versions of Windows as well as Linux, which makes it good for many businesses – but be warned that even though the description posits that there’s a driver available for Windows 10 it doesn’t seem to actually install properly.
Got this so I could print receipts for my customers paying in person with a card, chip or smartphone. I use PayPal Now with an Android tablet and PayPal card reader. The printer was easy to set up and works very well. The only thing I have not been able to do is print my company logo at the top of the slip. However, the company name, address, phone number, and email prints. I think this is a function, and thus a problem of PayPal, not the printer. So I’m not blaming the printer at all. However, it would be nice to have my logo on the receipt and the ability to print a coupon or something too.
The Zebra MZ220 printer is a small, mobile, economical thermal receipt printer. It uses the latest 802.11b/g Wifi or Bluetooth network connectivity. The Zebra MZ 220 also can connect to a handheld or smart phone device and produce crisp, clear receipts, printing labels and receipts up to 2″ wide. Since they are small, they are light in weight as well, and can be worn comfortably for a full shift without weighing down the user. Professionally styling make these  hand-held mobile printers ideal for customer-facing business applications.
Most of the related answers and google contain pretty old contributions referring to this topic. So Im looking for a way to make my Android-Application print receipts (58 mm in width) via a bluetooth thermal receipt printer. Is it necessary to use a printer with a 3rd party API? I thought about to buy a regular bluetooth printer, that can be connected to my device and use the default Android print manager to make a layout for the receipt. Is that possible? Are there any samples, docs or tutorials? Would appreciate it. Thanks in advance
@FrankHBC We have a similar setup with a hardwired Star SP742ML (ethernet card IFBD-HE/07/08) .  The Square app loses the connection to that printer. The iPad we use is connected via Wifi.   I suspect this is a common problem and seems to be related to the Square app because our network is up and we can verify connectivity to the printer.  Maybe we need a focus group to collaborate and share experiences.
Check the running cost and total cost of ownership if you can. Unfortunately, this may be impossible for near-dedicated photo printers, since there’s currently no widely accepted standard for calculating cost per photo. For dedicated photo printers, however, the cost per photo is typically easy to calculate, because most manufacturers sell print packs with enough ink and paper for a given number of photos.
Just click the Transaction and the Receipt will preview on the right-hand side. At the bottom, you’ll see the receipt number (ex: Receipt #H8R5). Click that and it will show you the digital version of the receipt. From there you’re good to print on the standard 8×11 printer paper.
Because having your funds withheld or your account frozen is more common when using a mobile card processor (the risk of fraud is considered greater), merchants looking for a payment-processing solution that’s less prone to these glitches may want to consider traditional credit card processing companies that also offer mobile solutions for business.

Every impact-based printer uses a ribbon to create receipts. These ribbons come in cartridge that fits into your specific printer. Many ribbons are available in black, purple, red, or a combination of black and red. Whatever the model, our wide selection of ribbons has one that fits your printer.
Bought it to print off my Square register with an iPad Air and it worked perfectly right out of the box! No driver download, no ink to mess with – plugged it in, plugged in the USB printer cable (mine WAS included) added paper, went back to previous sales and hit print receipt & a nice clean receipt slid out the top. Seems very commercial grade & well designed. This is kind of a 5 star review for both this printer and the square register since they go together so seamlessly. Very nice.

Loving it so far. I didn’t know I could even print text documents and images (in low-medium quality monochrome, mind you) right from my computer’s regular programs without special receipt software, after installing the driver of course. All you have to do is figure out the page size and margins and such, available in the manual and online. Some programs like Excel are a little tricky. This makes it easy to print bits of information clearly without wasting a lot of paper. It’s not fussy like a lot of regular printers. I just unplug it from one place and plug it into the other, wait a few seconds to hear the paper adjusting sound and the computer to recognize it, and print.

I’ve been trying to set up a POS for when I set up at shows to take credit card payments using Paypal Here. I’ve been piecemealing a system together on the (relatively) cheap compared to the big money Paypal wants for a system. I have a Samsung Tab A Android tablet, the paypal here chip reader and I’ve been stuck on the printer. I tried a cheaper $56 bluetooth printer other people have got to work with paypal, but for the life of me I couldn’t get it to change the bluetooth name and NO ONE was willing to post good instructions. I bought this one for $119 which is 1/2 the price of the Star printers. As usual for these imported items the instructions on the included CD are hard to follow. I did get this to print from paypal here. Since no one was willing to post step-by-step instructions under those other printers, I’ll post below what I did to get it paired and working with my android tablet. Your mileage may vary, but this is what worked for me.
Dust protected and splash-proof resistant (IP54Certified), the SM-T300i is rugged enough for outside field workers requiring handhelds to seamlessly print from a mobile device to a durable portable mobile receipt printer. The SM-T300i also allows for restaurant servers and clerks working in demanding retail and hospitality environments to print standard three inch format receipts wherever they need to. Its rugged and splash proof design combined with standard three inch receipt printing and a long battery life make the SM-T300i a welcomed option.
I bought this printer to work with Square Apps.on the I phone and I pad. On the I phone the square app. doesn’t have a place to add the printer. It does on the I pad and works great right out of the box. You can use 2 1/4 X 42″ thermal paper, the same size I use with my Verifone 8020, just google it When pairing with I pad the code number is 1234 as most. Doesn’t come with info, but I found the manual on posworld.com that you can download. At first tried to buy from posworld.com, ordered and waited for 3 weeks and to this day haven’t heard from them yet. Had to file a depute with DiscoverCard. Forgot about Amazon. Ordered on Monday, got it Wednesday. It will print cash or charge receipts, quickly. Now I don’t have to try typing email or text receipts. Just takes to long.
