Out of the box, the Star TSP654 – Part# TSP654L-24 can easily be configured in Star Line or ESC/POS emulation mode and features all interface options including USB and Ethernet due to its plug-in modules. i bought this printer to complement my diy pos system. the other items include a dell computer and monitor, and this cash drawer, all for under $700. the printer included the epson opos drivers, which allowed me to install the printer to the computer very easily. this printer also communicates with the cash drawer perfectly, and allowed me to add a custom image to the top of the receipt with very little effort.
The Epson TM-T88V-i provides users with a straightforward and elegant printing solution, with no need for drivers. Ideal for use with tablet PCs or mobile phones, the TM-T88V-i is simple to use and maintain, with the ability to print from any device running an HTML 5 compatible web browser. In addition, the TM-T88V-i has greyscale printing for the addition of logos and images to receipts.
Printer works great with Square after you manage to get it to connect. The very first thing you want to is to set dip switch #3 to off. To do this, locate the tiny plate on the bottom that is held on by a Philips screw and remove the plate. The dip switches are there. Then, after installing the wifi link device, connect it to your computer’s Ethernet using the included cord and configure the wifi adapter. Star Micronics suggests using the client mode. I had to use the bridge mode to get it to successfully connect to my hotspot. Don’t forget to change the password from the default setting, by clicking the System Tools on the menu while you’re setting it all up.
The Epson TM-M10 Bluetooth printer connects wirelessly using Bluetooth technology to print receipts and kitchen tickets. Watch this video or follow the instructions below to learn how to set up the printer and connect it to ShopKeep’s iPad-based point of sale system.

I used this with an IPad with the Heckler Windfall stand on an APG cash drawer. I was able to hook up the APG cash drawer directly to this printer, and then used the IPad Bluetooth to communicate with the printer. Works like a charm, never an issue with jamming either. I am using the Square POS app. Plus there isn’t a delay when printing a receipt with the bluetooth.
2. While holding down the FEED button, turn on the printer using the switch on the top front of the printer. The self test prints the printer settings and then prints the following, cuts the paper, and pauses.

The warranty is longer on the 88V so it, including the increased speed, the increased reliability there is a longer warranty on the T88V. High paced restaurants or retail establishments I’d still go with the 88V, I’d spend a little extra money and get the better printer but if you are on a tight budget and you’re looking for something more economical the T20II is a good solution, the speed has definitely improved over the original T20. The latest innovation in Epson’s long line of receipt printers are its series of smart receipt printers. Built on the firm foundations Epson has established over the years they have been created to meet the needs of the age.
This is a fantastic product, worked as expected with tons of options and the ability to configure settings is very handy. Everything installed properly and it works despite not having a dedicated POS server! The ability to reduce receipt size has been a huge thing for us. Only issue we ran into was an issue on our side of things not fully uninstalling our old drivers, but once we did a full uninstall it worked like a dream. The ability of the printer to cut the receipt off for us has been a big help and makes them look much more professional over all and speeds things up considerably more than we expected.
Hi, Travis from POSGuys.com. Today we’ll be reviewing the M series of printers from Epson. This is the TM-M30 and the TM-M10 receipt printers. They’re both thermal receipt printers, they’re similar form factor where they’re very square. This is the 3-inch version, this is the 2-inch version. By 3-inch version, this means this uses standard receipt printer of 3 inch width, and this uses a 2 inch, smaller receipt paper. They’re both top load or front load, this is set into front-load version, this is set in to top-load version. They print at a reasonable rate, this is an 8-inch per second, and this is a 6-inch per second. The 8-inch per second is the same as the current model TM-T20ii version, so it’s the same print speed, it’s just a much more compact form factor.
Introducing Star’s new Ethernet receipt printer solution, the latest model from Star’s renowned TSP100 Series used by retailers & restaurateurs across the globe from major retailers & fast food restaurants to your local corner shop & café.
Actual print speed is an impressive and efficient 300mm per second while multiple grey scale printing enables better representation of logos and graphic images. The TM-T88V works on several platforms, so it’s simple to integrate into your network and it also comes with in-built USB IF which means easy migration to USB in the future.
Part number M244A. Interfaces are ethernet and USB. Unit has had the case removed and has been blown out, cleaned and tested. No nasty restaurant surprises here. NOTE: sale is for the printer ONLY as …

Hi this is Travis with POSGuys.com. Today we’re taking a relook at a video we created a couple years ago. This is the TM-T88V and this is the new version of the T20 ReadyPrint, the T202 or T20II however you want to call it. The print speed has been increased on this but also some internal changing has been done on the printer. The printer can print a lot faster than it used to be. Take a look at our older video where we compared the print speed from the 88V to the original T20. You can see a significant slow down whenever this had to print heavy graphics. So in that original video there was like a black bar that would print every other line and that black bar really caused this printer to slow down. The T20II has been upgraded so that is no longer the case. The speed prints like you would expect it to print which is slower than the 88V but not significantly slower.
