Ok, so I guess the “ii” is the newer model and so it makes sense (I guess) that it would be backward compatible with the “i” which you listed, BUT you also list the Star Micronics TSP143iiiLAN which when clicked shows the Star Micronics TSP143iiLAN, so now we should assume that OLDER generation models should also work when you list the newer generation one?
Hi, you should be publish the image with you test… publish your superman logo… please for test, because i buyed that code and it’s fail… or give me any specification of the image… png, bmp, gif… size of image, dimentions… thanks for your work!!
Acts as a regular printer, you install it, and print whatever you want to it and it automatically scales it down to the margin on the printer paper and done deal(No need to go around playing with settings) NOTE: CHROME STILL LIKES TO USE 2 MILES OF THE PAPER SO I DONT KNOW ABOUT CHROME AS MY POS FRONT END. I USE FIREFOX OR OPERA)
Introducing Star’s new Ethernet receipt printer solution, the latest model from Star’s renowned TSP100 Series used by retailers & restaurateurs across the globe from major retailers & fast food restaurants to your local corner shop & café.
The M10 and M30 are very similar form factors, this is set to top load, this is set to front load. In the top load version, your cover opens up, your paper just drops in. The printer can also be converted to the front load version. In the front load, your paper drops in like so.
As with pretty much any device these days, you get a variety of options with a receipt printer – there are of course the very basic ones that just print receipts as well as more complex models that have features like Bluetooth connectivity and can connect to mobile devices.
Reliable product. It configures with Square register and Ipad stand. I already had a pair with my original POS square system. When I went to get another for my other store location I got the same product as it worked well and pairs well with square. If it works don’t fix it, so I got the same again.
Additionally, these terminals may come with a complete set of equipment, including a bar-code scanner, cash register, receipt printer, and contactless or near-field communication (NFC) reader, which lets you accept mobile payments such as Apple Pay and Android Pay.
Unlike traditional card processing companies, which deposit the funds from credit card and other payments directly into a merchant’s bank account, PayPal deposits merchant funds directly into a merchant’s PayPal account. As Heaven Stubblefield points out in her PayPal Here review for CompareCards.com, if you don’t use PayPal regularly, you might not appreciate the extra step of transferring funds to your bank account on a regular basis.
But as tech reviewer Joshua Sherman — who compared PayPal Here to Square and Intuit GoPayment for Digital Trends — points out, PayPal’s card reader doesn’t “sit” as well on top of a device as other card readers do, making it slightly awkward to use. The New York Times’ Pogue has a similar complaint, saying that the reader covers the sleep/wake switch of some iPhone models, which can be inconvenient for merchants trying to process a transaction.
Square, that small white magnetic stripe card reader you see all over on iPads and smartphones, can make it easy to turn your smartphone or tablet into a portable point of sale station. Figuring out everything you need to set it up and use it, however, can be confusing. In this Square for Android Basics article, we talk about everything you need to know about using Square with an Android device. We’ll go over:

Really solid receipt printer. Less expensive than 90% of the machines in its class, but it holds its own without an issue. Installation was slightly more involved than other reviewers had let on (it helps to know which port you’re connecting this through), but overall it was still pretty simple to get working. Just make sure that you don’t have an old version of the Epson receipt print driver on your computer, as this can cause the installation to fail.

@SSmobile @Kevin7 – I went ahead and moved both of your comments over to the thread where we are tracking this feature request. I totally understand your frustration and desire for Epson support. They make a mean printer that is also a fraction of the cost of most Star printers. I have personally passed this feedback along to our product team, and expanding compatibility is something that is top of mind for them. I’ll update this thread if/when this functionality is added in the future!
I have a Star Micronics TSP100 Trueprint USB printer and the Squarestand. When I plug the printer into the USB block connected to the square stand, it is not recognized by the square register software.
Can you comment more on the fiddle WiFi connection? Have had the printer for 5 months for my daughter’s Pixel 2 XL and have not been able to get it to connect at all. Stays on ‘connecting’… works with my wife’s Galaxy Note 5… Kodak offers no customer support or info… can’t believe you recommended it. Maybe if I could see a pic would change my mind – help!
The primary differences between these printers are their print speed and interface options. Before you decide which printer to purchase, consider the volume of receipts you plan on printing and how you will be connecting your receipt printer, as well as if you need any additional features. Star is also the primary brand compatible with iPad point of sale, so if you’re planning on using an iPad, see below for which models are compatible with which point of sale software. For more information on receipt printers for Square, see our Square receipt printer guide.

Square for Android works with any printer driven cash drawer, as long as the cash drawer is compatible with the receipt printer you’re using. We successfully used Square with APG, MMF, and POS-X printer driven cash drawers (hooked up to our TSP100 USB printer), but any printer driven cash drawer should work. If you’re looking for a cash drawer to use instead of the official cash drawers, we recommend:
Square for Android is officially compatible with USB interface barcode scanners, USB or Ethernet interface receipt printers, and USB or printer driven cash drawers (that are compatible with your receipt printer). Below is the list of recommended hardware for Square for Android. Links will direct you to official part number pages. For more information on compatibility, please give us a call!

If you own a food-truck, this is perfect for you. It’s been a life saver! No more need for buying ticket books and writing down orders. When you pair this with Square, it’s a match made in heaven. The battery lasts for about 8 hours on a single charge. And in case of emergency, a 1 hour charge will last about 4 hours.
Wanted a simple cheap way to take card payments so came across the above companies. I suppose i can just do what i do now and not produce any receipts but when customers pay by card and then not get a receipt for the card payment they might get a bit suspicious…
Back in the day, the only way you could see a picture that you had taken with your camera, was to have the film processed and prints made. Today, most images that we take are passed around digitally via email, and social media sites like Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Is there still a place in this digital world for physical prints? KODAK sure hopes so and have created the Photo Printer Mini to get the job done fast and easy. Let’s see how well they’ve done.
