Product – HP Sprocket Photo Printer, Print Social Media Photos on 2×3 Sticky-Backed Paper (White) + Photo Paper (10 sheets) + USB Cable with Wall Adapter Charger + HeroFiber Ultra Gentle Cleaning Cloth
First one we got was dead. Customer service is almost non-existent. Packaged it up and paid to ship back to repair center. Several weeks went by with no feedback, then received back the exact packaging with no note or anything to indicate what the issue was, or if it had even been fixed. It seems it has, but that process was a pain. Now it doesn’t like to stay visible on the network so we are always either re-booting or just telling people it’s broken. Turns out people don’t care all that much about paper receipts anyway. Recommend purchasing directly through Square if you really need it. At least then you might get some tech support.

I have also tried connecting the printer as a local printer since a lot of fixes said to try this, but these end up with an error at the end of the installation i get an error that I don’t have access to do this.  I am using an administrator account.
I bought this printer for my business. I’m a mobile merchant. I works as advertised, worth every penny. Today almost everything is emailed but a printed ticket is always appreciated. Plus having all the proper tools gives you a professional image and enhances shopping experience for your clients.

This unit worked very well out of the box. Yes, it would have been nice to find instructions, or even a url for where to find the manual, but some kind souls have posted about that in the q&a, so no biggie. But yesterday I plugged it in to charge, after. It using it for a couple of weeks, and no joy. The unit shows no sign of life at. I have removed the battery, checked and wiped the connections, etc etc. The return window closed 26 days ago so looks like I’m screwed 🙁 I’m dismayed to have spent $295 (including taxes) for a paperweight, and not sure what to do next. 😩
Credit card processing can be pricey, but the costs associated with using PayPal Here’s credit app and reader are reasonable. It’s free to sign up for the service, and there are no contracts or monthly fees. Businesses or individuals simply sign up for a premier or business account with PayPal — or upgrade their existing accounts — and then download the PayPal Here app (also free) on a mobile device.
As the name indicates, dedicated (also known as small-format) photo printers can print nothing but photos. They are typically limited to a maximum paper size of 2 by 3 inches, 4 by 6 inches, or 5 by 7 inches (or panoramic variations on these sizes), but the category isn’t defined just by its limits. These printers are relatively small and portable. They’re also much less computer printers than they are standalone consumer electronics products, with an emphasis on ease of use. There are few of them still on the market these days.
Want to use your iPhone as a point-of-sale (POS) system for your business? Getting started is easy, and processing transactions isn’t rocket science either. But with the plethora of mobile credit card processors available, the biggest challenge is choosing which one is right for your business.
The printer comes with 1500mAh super power lithium battery, whose standby time can reach 5-6 days. Added with smart power saving and power consumption control functions, the set is able to work for a longer life.

If you’re considering a POS system to make it more convenient for your business to manage inventory and prices, you shouldn’t look any further. For the price, you can set up a fantastic FREE POS software with all the accessories such as the stand, receipt printer, cash drawer, barcode scanner, and EMV/chip reader for one upfront cost and not have to pay for your POS like some of these not so reputable POS sellers try to market to you. Even if you don’t use Square to process your cards (which is what Square truly wants you to do), the setup for a POS system with an iPad is second to none. The software gets constant updates, works flawlessly, and is FREE. I have no regrets about switching to the Square ecosystem for running my business and selling inventory. I occasionally use their card processing, but even if I didn’t, I’d still use the Square POS system and software. No regret here!
Our intelligent ePOS technology can control TM printers directly via web browsers or natively on many smart devices. Near field communication (NFC) functionality allows mobiles and/or tablets to be easily paired with the printers. Barcode pairing is also available for non-NFC devices to make handling faster and easier.
There’s no such thing as a dedicated or near-dedicated photo printer all-in-one, but some dedicated photo printers add functions beyond printing. Most include menus with basic editing features that let you crop an image, remove redeye, and the like. A few add so many editing choices that they’re essentially home photo kiosks, often including a large touch screen to let you easily give commands. These often also add features like the ability to scan slides and film negatives. Some also include enough memory to store hundreds of photos, so you can bring the printer with you, show the photos, and print them out on the spot. Some dedicated photo printers are built into other kinds of devices, like cameras.

The options for near-dedicated photo printers are pretty much the same as for standard office printers. Some models offer just a single USB connector. Others add a second USB connector for sharing between two computers, or an Ethernet connector for easy sharing on a network; some offer Wi-Fi connectivity as well, and a few offer USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. Few models offer PictBridge connectors or similar choices, because the assumption is that serious photographers will want to print from photo-editing programs on their computers.
In addition, the SP700 BTi includes the ability to print receipts or data from a web browser-based application running on a mobile device wirelessly by configuring Star’s WebPRNT Browser. Once configured, the user simply pairs their mobile device to the SP700 BTi, open the application on WebPRNT Browser and prints from the application.

Bluetooth Nightmare. I shelled out a bunch of cash to be able to use the Bluetooth printer with my iPAD/Square Register system. Initially it was a pain in the neck to connect to and it would randomly drop the connection. After a couple months the printer stopped connecting. Very disappointed in this product. When you pay $400 plus for a printer you should expect it to work as it is stated. I would not recommend by this product. You will be embarrassed in front of your customer when the printer fails you. It could severely impact your reputation and business when your less experience techy people are trying to reconnect the printer and you will be sadly disappointed in a couple months when it finally fails to connect just like the other reviews stated.

I really want to love this product since it made craft fairs a lot easier for me, but I have to say I don’t really like the card reader itself. The app works great but the card reader never worked. I’d personally recommend just paying a little more money to get the chip reader because unlike the magstrip reader the chip reader worked great and is really easy to use.

Bottom Line: The Kodak Photo Printer Mini is a tiny printer that can be slipped in a pocket for easy wallet-size prints from mobile devices. Just beware that those prints are going to cost you much more …
I use this with square register. Super easy setup, very nice print quality just know that it only comes with a sample roll of paper so make sure you add a larger pack with purchase. It takes 3 1/4 inch thermal paper
@usascottwright – While we don’t currently support Epson printers, it’s definitely a popular feature request. I’ll update this thread if that changes in the future! Also, apologies for the delay in following up with you.
