Regarding the printers, several of our Square customers have had to return their TSP100iii bluetooth printers due to compatibility issues. Star’s TSP654II Bluetooth model is the best choice. They make a model specifically designed for either iOS or Windows/Android systems. Here is a link with information and the specific model numbers for each: http://www.posshopper.com/star-tsp654ii-bti-thermal-receipt-printer.html
Good Printer at the right price. It did not work initially with the supplied driver – but the support team worked non stop on the problem until it was fixed. It took a few days to get it up and running, but as I said the support team went over and above what was needed to get the problem solved and us up and running. It is a well made printer, should last a long time.

Additionally, there is a 2.7″ tilting LCD screen that ensures that works as your reviewing window. You can also do some light editing work before finalizing everything to print.
The Kitchen Buzzer connects directly the RJ11 port on the back of the printer. The buzzer sounds when a print job is sent to the TSP650II. This is beneficial for high noise environments like kitchens to alert cooks that orders have been sent.

Because having your funds withheld or your account frozen is more common when using a mobile card processor (the risk of fraud is considered greater), merchants looking for a payment-processing solution that’s less prone to these glitches may want to consider traditional credit card processing companies that also offer mobile solutions for business.
This is supposed to have 2 bluetooth radios and be able to pair and print from 2 phones simultaneously. I have not figured this out yet. I have not tried a LOT but the instructions do not indicate how to add a second phone

And while PayPal’s card reader is a bit bulky compared to the competition, its extended length makes it easier to get a good swipe of a credit card every time. Not having enough surface area for a swipe is another complaint that merchants level against Square’s little white cube.
We’ve used the Square POS system and most receiver email receipts. But any smart phone is also a Square POS… And those “remote” registers can also Bluetooth pair with this device and print. Wow. Plug it in anywhere.

That’s fantastic! We love to hear that you want to get more out of Square. Our software does allow you to ring in orders that can be printed for the kitchen, as well as print receipts for customers. Unfortunately, we don’t support the Star Micronics TSP64411BI printer at this time, so you would need to purchase a supported printer in order to get this all to work.

We were hesitant about getting this printer since it did not have an Off switch but so far that hasn’t been an issue since the printer itself hasn’t had the same errors we’ve been experiencing with an old receipt printer we were using without much success before.
@Kpay I have both a TM-88III and a TM-88IV with USB and both show unsupported device when I plug them in, are these going to be supported for Square Registers? I have made sure their USB ports are initialized.
Nice dot matrix receipt printer for use in a commercial kitchen to print out orders. It’s a larger printer compared to the thermal printers and it’s quite loud. Not a bad thing in a kitchen as the chef will hear the printer when a new ticket is up. It does by the way have a buzzer jack so when a ticket is printed the buzzer goes off as well. Easy to set up even without instructions that were not included in the box, nor was the power cord. I think I received a used or returned unit so hopefully instructions and a power cord should be included. Star has a very good website with all documentation online. I believe this printer will work well in the kitchen environment. Be sure to stock up on ribbons & paper. Also, be careful who this or any other product for that matter is sold by. If it’s not sold by Amazon.com there most likely will be a different return policy than the easy & liberal Amazon.com return policy. This is why I did not return the item since the seller I purchased from (Antonline) had such a restrictive and arrogant return policy, I thought I’d be in for a fight. Since it worked & I had a power cord I just kept it, it wasn’t work the potential aggravation.
